By building strategic brand partnerships, we can offset production costs and offer highly customized, top-tier artwork at an affordable price point for individual vehicle owners.

Privacy First: We respect your ownership and data. The photos of your vehicles and any personal information submitted during the commissioning process are kept confidential and secure, and deleted after mentioned duration.

reTooneᴅ™ was founded and is creatively directed by Yoër. As our creative lead, Yoër establishes the overarching aesthetic, color theory, and animation style guides for the brand. Outside of Retooned’s automotive focus, Yoër produces independent, stylized cartoon animations and character designs.

At Retooned, your privacy is treated with high priority. We believe in minimal data collection, strict boundaries on who can access your information, and absolute transparency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, handle, and securely delete your data when you use our website, www.retooned.co.

1. The Information We Collect and Receive

To facilitate our custom digital artwork services, we collect only the essential details required to manage your account and deliver your orders:

Account Credentials: Your name, email address, and country. You can also add your socials if you choose to. This allows our visitors to check out your profiles.

Reference Media: Photographs of your vehicles (cars or motorcycles) and face portraits uploaded to your account or during order submission to serve as direct visual references for our artists.

Payment Metadata: We do not accept, see, or store credit card numbers, bank details, or financial accounts. All payments are handled entirely by our secure third-party processor, PayPal™. We only store the unique transaction reference ID or order ID returned to us by PayPal to link your payment to your order.

2. Strict Internal Access Controls (Full Email Privacy)

We enforce rigorous access control protocols within our backend architecture.

Admin-Only Access: Only our core System Administrators have access to view user email addresses and real names.

No Manager or Artist Access: Neither managers, support personnel, nor our global network of freelance artists have access to your email address or account credentials. Reference photos are separated from your account details when passed to artists for production, ensuring your email and personal identity remain completely private.

3. Data Retention and the 14-Day Automatic Deletion Policy

Because your uploaded face portraits and vehicle photos constitute personal reference material, we do not keep them on our servers permanently.

Automatic Wiping: Exactly 14 days after your digital files are marked as delivered, all reference images (including face portraits and vehicle reference photos) are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active database and secure cloud storage.

No Backups of Media: Once these 14 days have elapsed, the source reference files no longer exist anywhere in our system.

4. Account Deletion and Data Anonymization

You have the right to delete your account at any time. Because historical orders, community collections, and global vehicle database records rely on connected data structures, our backend utilizes an anonymization pipeline upon deletion:

Scrubbing of PII: All personally identifiable information (PII), including your name, email address, country, and active profiles is permanently and completely erased from the database.

UUID Retention: Your account's random, non-identifiable system identifier (UUID) is retained strictly to maintain database integrity. This ensures that historical orders, public car database records, and collections stay linked to a neutral, anonymous entity without orphaned database references, while ensuring you can never be identified.

5. Cookies, Tracking, and Third-Party Integrations

We do not use advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third-party web analytics (such as Google Analytics). Our website collects only anonymous usage statistics including country-level visit counts, essential browser storage and cookies required to safely operate the site:

Supabase (Identity & Authentication): Utilizes essential session storage to keep you securely logged into your account.

PayPal™ (Secure Payment): Utilizes functional security cookies to process payments safely, verify identity, and prevent fraudulent transactions.

Mux (Video Streaming): Our video player utilizes minimal local browser storage strictly to manage video buffering, network performance, and quality optimization. It does not collect marketing profiles or personally identifiable user tracking data.

Resend (Transactional Emails): Email deliveries (such as signup confirmations and order updates) are processed server-side through our secure email gateway. No tracking pixels are embedded on our frontend.

Welcome to Retooned [www.retooned.co] These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and purchase of our custom digital packages. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Account Obligations and Security

To purchase artwork or access your digital deliverables, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date details (name, email, and country). We use a verification link/code flow to authenticate the sessions. This avoids the user, of any need to store or maintain a password.

2. Custom Orders, Production, and Cancellation Policy

Because our stylized artwork and animated videos require manual 3D modeling and animation labor, cancellations and refunds are strictly tied to our backend order tracking statuses:

Paid / Confirmed Status: You may request a cancellation and refund if your order remains in these early phases.

Processing Status: Once our creative team accepts your order and transitions the status to Processing, production and manual modeling labor have officially begun. At this stage, order cancellations and refunds are strictly not permitted.

3. The 14-Day Revision Limit

Because Retooned operates on a strict 14-day privacy-first deletion policy for all uploaded media (as detailed in our Privacy Policy), our revision window is absolute:

Absolute Cutoff: All requests for modifications, tweaks, or corrections must be submitted within 14 days of your digital delivery. Revisions are entertained, ONLY in case of mistakes from our end, like incorrect or missing details, from the original order specifications. Order details cannot be changed or added post delivery, in a revision request.

No Post-Deletion Revisions: Once 14 days have passed, your reference images are permanently deleted. We cannot perform any edits, reconstructions, or revisions after this period because our artists no longer have the reference material needed to verify the changes.

4. Intellectual Property, Assets, and Reuse Rules

Our digital offerings operate on a split-licensing model between vehicle models and stylized characters to balance community customization with individual privacy:

Stylized Characters (Private & Exclusive): Custom characters created from your uploaded face portraits are strictly mapped to your unique user account. These customized characters will not be shared in a public directory or made available to other users. No other customer can select or use your stylized character.

Vehicles & Models (Public Record): Any custom 3D vehicle model (cars, trucks, motorcycles, or custom body parts) created for a Toons order becomes a permanent part of the Retooned public global database. Retooned retains the rights to reuse these 3D models. Other users are permitted to select a previously created vehicle from our directory, customize its details (e.g., paint color, decals, or plates via a Shorts order), and pair it with their own unique character.

Collections: You acknowledge and agree that your completed vehicle artwork and backgrounds (including your custom stylized characters that appear in the artwork) will eventually be offered as public, downloadable digital assets within our "Collections" library.

5. Licensing and Permitted Usage

Retooned grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your delivered digital files for personal, non-commercial purposes.

What is Fully Allowed (Personal Use): You are free to print your custom vehicle design on personal apparel, canvas prints, or stickers; use it as your private garage or personal shop display banner; post it to your personal social media profiles; and share it with friends and family.

What is Strictly Prohibited (Commercial Use): You may not resell the digital files or physical prints of the artwork; package our designs as digital assets for sale; or use our artwork for commercial business marketing, promotions, or branding campaigns unless you have obtained explicit, written commercial authorization and licensing from Retooned. You may not claim authorship or creation of the design, and you may not use our assets in a way that conflicts with or competes with Retooned's direct business activities.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Retooned provides digital assets and website functionality on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that our digital files will be compatible with all specific third-party media players or software. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Retooned, its creative director, and its freelance network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website or your custom digital files.

7. Sponsored Themes & Brand Partnerships

‍Brand Integrations: Retooned collaborates with automotive, lifestyle, and industry brands to create unique, sponsored themes. These partner themes may feature digital product placements, official logos, or branded background elements (such as track banners, decals, or signs) within the 3D scene.

‍User Consent: By selecting and purchasing a sponsored theme for your order, you explicitly consent to the inclusion of these brand partners' logos and product placements in your final delivered artwork and animation.

‍No Modification of Brand Assets: You are granted a personal license to display and use the final delivered artwork containing these brand placements. However, you may not edit, blur, alter, or remove any sponsor logos or brand assets from the final delivered files.

‍No Compensation or Royalty: Because brand partnerships allow us to subsidize and lower production costs for our users, you acknowledge that you are not entitled to any royalty, financial compensation, or split-revenue if your commissioned vehicle is featured in a sponsored theme, shared on our or our partner's social media, or sold as a public Collection.

1. Trademark and Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

reTooneᴅ™ is an entirely independent digital art studio. All product names, logos, brands, vehicle designs, and other trademarks featured, simulated, or referred to within our custom artworks, animated videos, collections, or website are the property of their respective trademark holders. These trademark holders are not affiliated with reTooneᴅ™, our products, our artistic team, or our website. They do not sponsor, authorize, or endorse any of our digital art, custom packages, or services. Our creations are artistic interpretations and stylized representations of car culture, produced solely for personal enjoyment and artistic expression.

2. EU/UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal Waiver

Because our digital products are highly customized, made-to-order, and delivered electronically, standard cooling-off and cancellation periods are limited:
If you reside in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you acknowledge and agree that by purchasing a custom digital package, you are requesting immediate performance of our services.
You explicitly agree that you waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (refund) once the order status transitions to "Processing" or once the digital files have been delivered to your account.

3. Copyright Infringement & Takedown Policy (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We do not knowingly permit copyright infringement on our platform. If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe that any user-uploaded reference image or public asset in our "Collections" library infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a takedown request. Please contact our System Administrator at our official administrative email address with the following information:

1.  A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.

2.  An identification of the specific material on our website that you claim is infringing, including a URL or screenshot.

3.  Your contact information (name, email address, and physical address).

4.  A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. Upon receipt of a valid and complete notice, we will act promptly to review and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the disputed material.
